If not you, who?
I am sure all of you know someone who has benefited by donated blood. The need for blood is never ending and the units collected at the past blood drives held at Zion Union Church Maxatawny may have played a critical role in the care of: Premature infants, Cancer patients, Cardiac patients, Burn victims and Accident/trauma victims. I would like to thank everyone from Zions and the community for their past and present support.
Please Note: Zion Union Church Maxatawny has been supporting Miller-Keystone Blood Center by holding blood drives here at church for at least 13 years, however, in recent years our goals and actual donations have been declining. For the church to keep providing this valuable community service we need to step up and increase our support of the sponsored blood drives. If you can donate, please consider donating at our drives. If you cannot donate and know someone in your family or community tell them about the blood drives here at Zions and ask them to donate.
Although we have several consistent donors from the church and from the community, if our current downward trends continue, we will not be able to support this most worthwhile service.
Thank you.
Patricia Kutz, Blood Drive Coordinator
