The purpose of this committee was designed to focus specific energy on the opportunities Zion’s Union Church Maxatawny offers our youth to grow in their faith in relationship to the Lord, their relationship to each other, and their relationship with other members of different age groups of our faith family.  The committee consists of 1 committee chair and 3 committee members.  There are currently no term limits.  The Youth Committee coordinates venues and handles any concerns among youth activities including Sunday School, Church Worship, Music, Youth Group, and Early Communion/Confirmation, or where there is overlap between these organizations.  The Youth Committee, in the past, has made sure some of these activities continued on course, despite pastoral changes.  Committee Duties: investigate, inspire, and challenge Zions’s Union Church Maxatawny to call our youth into service, worship, and praise to God and engages and encourages all organizations and members to bring ideas that would make our church a more inviting place for youth to the committee’s attention.
