The Mission Outreach Committee was formed with the purpose of local outreach, disaster response, distance mission trips and other outreach efforts as God directs.  The committee does not have a chairperson and members do not have terms.  The committee generally meets on a monthly basis before church at 9:15 AM.  The committee reports directly to the Church Board.  The committee participates in various outreach projects including the following: serving meals at Opportunity House and coordinating serving dates with other church groups; coordination and participation in the Zion Moselem Church’s Potato Project: coordination of monthly in-gatherings of non-perishable items; coordination of blanket donations to Concern and Opportunity House; coordination and distribution of backpacks filled with food and school items for children in the Kutztown, Brandywine and Fleetwood School Districts; community garden on Church property from which fresh vegetables are delivered to Opportunity House, Friend, Inc. and the Berks County Food Bank.
