Worship & Music

​The Worship & Music Committee’s purpose is to see that spiritually uplifting worship services are conducted which faithfully reflect the historic liturgies of both the Lutheran and United Church of Christ churches, as well as incorporating new liturgical elements and hymns.  They do this by:

• arrangement and maintenance of worship furnishings and supplies
  
• training ushers, greeters, and acolytes
  
• assisting in organizing musical groups, musicians, and singers 
  
• maintaining the organ, pianos, and other musical equipment
  
• provide the elements for Holy Communion
  
•  clean and care for communion ware and linens;
  
• train worship assistants.
